The Gamma Tau Chapter of Alpha Xi Delta takes great pride in the national philanthropy, Autism Speaks!
Our sisters passionately work to raise awareness for autism and money for Autism Speaks throughout the year! Some of our events include Karaoke for a Cause, where the ONU community is invited to come sing their hearts out in support; Fall Carnival, which is a day full of carnival food and fun that we hold annually with the brothers of Sigma Phi Epsilon during ONU Parents' Day; and Football FrenXi, a flag football tournament that is fun for all!
Along with these great events, our sisters support Autism Speaks through various events held during April, which is Autism Awareness Month! This year, we will kick off the month with our Blue Baseball game. You can find our sisters in blue supporting ONU Baseball at the game on April 2nd. Next, we hope you'll join us at our annual Blue Dinner on April 7th in the Chapel! Each year, this is a campus favorite and we can't wait to serve you our famous blueberry pancakes! New this year, stop by between classes to get a Hershey's kiss and an autism fact on April 18th and 20th in Mathile. We hope you'll take the time to stop by and learn a new fact about autism on the bottom of your Hershey's kiss!
We are extremely thankful for all of the support we get from our families, fellow students, and Ada community when it comes to our philanthropy events. Please direct any questions or concerns to our Philanthropy Chair, Kirsten Adamson, firstname.lastname@example.org
